Oh Buoy Abodes: Moving In
Moving can be super stressful and tiring, but I've always loved change and new beginnings. I see a new space as a fresh palette. Our last place had a lot of dark wood, which resulted in a more masculine/"old sailor man" aesthetic. As you can see, we have a large bay window at our new abode which lets in a lot of light, and I'm looking forward to keeping the space light by decorating with creams, whites, and navy accents. This monogrammed bag (a wedding gift from Lindsey & Brett!) serves as great inspiration for what is to come in this room. Clean, classic, simple. It will be a slow process (we'll be keeping our old furniture for now, while slowly buying quality pieces to replace it), but I can't wait to get started! Get ready for many more Oh Buoy Abode updates!

Love the bag - where's it from?
ReplyDeleteThey are from Joss & Main! They have them often, called the Nantasket Satchel. I went to a local embroider for the monogram.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I've been looking into getting a small place for myself, but I don't think it's the right time yet. Looking forward to seeing how you decorate the place!
