Thirsty Thursday:
We stumbled upon this fun and festive infographic when looking for some cocktails to serve this holiday season. I'll have a Santa's Stiff Hot Chocolate please!

Thirsty (and hungry) Thursday: MV Recipes
We leave for the Vineyard in two short days, and CAN NOT WAIT. While there are fabulous restaurants on the island, we also really enjoy staying in and cooking a large "family dinner". Here are some of the recipes that we're anxious to try!

Thirsty Thursday: Tory Burch Tabletop
Did you know that Tory Burch just released a tabletop collection? We're in love, and want to set our table in all things blue and white. We've rounded up some of our favorite items, perfectly suited for the happiest of hours.
Happy Friday-Eve. Cheers!

Thirsty Thursday: Christmas in July
While we may still have 5 months to wait before the real thing, we may as well sip a festive Christmas cocktail. We found this delicious (and most adorably named) concoction and can't wait to whip it up. Add some summertime shades of red & green, and it will officially be Christmas in July!

Thirsty Thursday: Favorite Boston Spots
This week we've decided to round up some of our favorite watering holes in Boston. In most areas of the city you can stumble out of one "bahh" and into the next. But these are the places we find ourselves frequenting, and where we can always run into a friend or two.
Drink of Choice: Whiskey Smash
Close second & third - Neighboring spots Island Creek Oyster & Hawthorne (same owners). Eastern Standard wins because of its fantastic patio!
528 Commonwealth Ave
Kenmore Square, Boston
Drink of Choice: Sangria
Great views, fun crowd, delicious drinks (and food). The only way that you can go wrong at Legals is if you get there too late and have to wait in line.
270 Northern Ave
Seaport, Boston
Drink of Choice: Bud LIght Lime
Nothing says summer quite like a bucket of Bud Light Limes on the waterfront at The Landing. Get the fishbowl if you're feeling adventurous.
1 Long Wharf,
Long Wharf/Waterfront, Boston
O'LEARY'S
Drink of Choice: Perfectly poured pint of Guinness
This one is off the beaten path, but is a staple of ours in the cooler months. A true Irish pub with a cast of regulars and a scrumptious chicken pot pie. If you're in for a more rowdy Irish experience, The Black Rose in the Fanueil Hall area also pours a good Guinness and has live Irish music daily.
1010 Beacon Street
St. Mary's, Brookline
Drink of Choice: Margaritas
Looking for strong, expertly crafted margs on the waterfront? This is the place to go. Sunset Cantina is another go-to spot for margaritas, when we're on the other side of town.
250 Northern Ave
Seaport, Boston
Drink of Choice: Great beer selection (or a glass of Sauvignon Blanc)
And last but certainly not least, Parish Cafe, where we're members of the Mug Club. A couple of years ago, we were crazy enough to sign up to try 100 different beers within 6 months (you now have to try 125 beers). If you complete the challenge, your "trophy" is your own personal mug that will always be waiting for you at the bar. Guess what Amanda's mug says...
361 Boylston St
Back Bay, Boston
PS - If you see a table of ladies with mugs on a Wednesday night, it's most likely us.
Cheers!

Thirsty Thursday: How Do You Sangria?
Boston had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend, but the summer-like weather didn't last for long. Temperatures dropped drastically on Tuesday, and we were forced to pull the jackets back out. So everyone was thankful to see the sun today, and there is a renewed hope that summer actually is just around the corner. So we're thinking summer drinks. We found this infographic from Wine Enthusiast which will help you craft the perfect sangria this summer. Cheers!

Thirsty Thursday - Charleston Fizz
Lindsey's jetting down to Charleston, SC today for a bachelorette party. Amanda plans on trying to replicate a sunny southern weekend back in Boston with this bright barware and a fresh "Charleston Fizz". Whether you're on a Carolina beach or a Boston roof deck, you can enjoy a cocktail with your feet up and country music on the radio. Enjoy!

Thirsty Thursday: Bar Carts
We are of the mindset that no home is complete without a healthy selection of beverage options on hand for spur-of-the-moment entertaining. While I currently have a vertical bar from Crate & Barrel, I'm dying to add a bar cart to my new apartment. You saw Lindsey's over Christmas (here), and I absolutely love hers. I am also loving the look of this cart from Society Social:
While I don't know that the bright pink would fit in to my decorating scheme, how fun does the cart look in a bright color?
I'm also drawn to the simplicity of the Parker Mid-Century bar cart from West Elm
All of this talk of bar carts is making me thirsty. Is it time for happy hour yet!?! Here's a deliciously springy cocktail recipe to help you celebrate that it is almost Friday!

Thirsty Thursday - Cranberry Jameson
This time of year is generally filled with creamy Irish coffees, green beer, and pints of Guinness. But we're going to take a different route. Amanda tried this drink at the Jameson Distillery in Dublin when she visited for St. Patrick's Day 2 years ago, and we're thinking that it is the perfect time to give it another try!
Slainte!

Thirsty Thursday - Wine Glasses Aplenty
We've been drinking a lot of wine lately (and by wine I mean 2 Buck Chuck and by lately I mean always).
We tend to love BIG glasses (no surprise there) but it turns out that each type of wine has it's own glass for a reason. We found this wine glass infographic from winefolly.com very helpful AND adorable.
