We are still shoveling out from under 2'+ of snow here in Boston, but enjoyed our snow day(s). Here are some snapshots from the last couple of days, both cooped up indoors and making our way out in the snow.

Links We're Loving
Amanda's brother (on banjo) and his band submitted an entry for the NPR Tiny Desk Concert Contest, and we are so impressed!! Make sure to give it a listen, and good luck boys!
An amazing time layer-lapse video of Boston.

Even though it isn't yet time for Spring cleaning, staying organized is at the top of many people's New Year's Resolutions lists. Stick with it this year with these tips for de-cluttering your home.

Chi Town Love
It's no secret we love our fair city of Boston, but today we're showing the Windy City some love. (Which, ironically, is less windy than Boston on average.) My fiancé and I went to visit my brother and sister-in-law in their brand new industrial loft style condo and had a truly wonderful time. Our long weekend was filled with unbelievable food, sailing on Lake Michigan, strolling through The Loop, and sipping fabulous wines on the roof deck.
Whittling down the list of restaurants we wanted to try was the toughest part of the trip. Here's the eateries we landed on this time—all of which you simply must try the next time you find yourself in Chicago.

Want It Wednesday - Boston to Chicago
Lindsey here. And I've got travel on the brain. I'm heading to Chicago tonight to visit my brother and sister-in-law, and it's got me thinking about the perfect travel outfit. Comfort is a must, but I'm not one for old sweats on a plane. If I could compile the perfect comfy AND stylish jetsetter outfit, this would be it. See you in Chi Town!

Day Tripper: Boston Harbor Islands
A few weeks ago, my family came to town to visit. The weather was perfect, so we hopped on a ferry to Georges Island in Boston Harbor for a day of exploring. We started with lunch at the snack shack, stopped in the Visitor Center, then wandered through Fort Warren. The fort was built at the time of the Civil War, and was used to defend Boston Harbor through the end of World War II. In addition to being an important piece of history, the fort provides amazing views of the skyline (and some spooky tunnels and chambers below). The day ended perfectly with a smooth journey back to the city, complete with a Sam Summer in hand. This was my second time heading out to the Boston Harbor Islands, and it most certainly will not be my last.
What I'm wearing: Dress - Old Navy; Bracelets - Oh Buoy Boston, Alex + Ani, Beaded bracelet (gift from Ma); Bag - OLD from H&M; Sunglasses - American Eagle

Sand Sculptures at Revere Beach
What's more impressive than a perfectly sculpted, super detailed work of art? One that's made entirely of beach sand. We took a trip down to Revere Beach this weekend to check out the national Sand Sculpting Festival and were amazed by what we found. The detail on these pieces was incredible! As inspired as we were, I think we'll stick to laying in the sand and leave the sculpting to the pros.

Thirsty Thursday: A Night at Alibi
Have you been to The Liberty Hotel and the phenomenal bars & restaurants inside? I've been on quite a few occasions (including my bachelorette party!) and had the opportunity to return to Alibi on Tuesday for an Equinox gym member event.
For the non-Bostonians, The Liberty is the old Charles Street Jail, which has been renovated into a luxury hotel. Alibi is an indoor/outdoor cocktail bar that is worth a visit next time you are in town.
Equinox rented out the entire space, indoors and out, and threw quite the event, complete with a band, hors d'oeuvres, and four signature cocktails. I had the American Mule and Strawberry Bloom (and Rachel tried the Raspberry Limeade). Strawberry Bloom was a personal favorite, and a recipe I'll be recreating this summer. Very refreshing!

Want It Wednesday - Eyes on White Eyelet
According to the radar, it is storming up and down the east coast right now. The view out of my window in downtown Boston is a steady stream of umbrellas, raincoats, and ponchos (tourists). Wet and white do NOT mix, but we're thinking of brighter days ahead. Stay cool [and look adorably sweet] in the mid-summer heat with any of these picks.

Ceremony Boston
Last Friday I went wedding dress shopping for the first time! Based on a recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment at Ceremony Boston in Beacon Hill. I hopped on the T with my mom, walked through the park over to Charles Street and rung the bell. As I walked up the stairs I entered into the most adorably perfect shop I've ever seen. Flooded with natural light by the wall of windows, this all white space was decorated to perfection, with the sweetest (and fashionable) shop owner to match.
If you are a Boston Bride, you simply must pay a visit to Ceremony. The selection is limited (I prefer to say the selection is beautifully edited) with each dress being a uniquely stunning option.
