Sand Sculptures at Revere Beach

What's more impressive than a perfectly sculpted, super detailed work of art? One that's made entirely of beach sand. We took a trip down to Revere Beach this weekend to check out the national Sand Sculpting Festival and were amazed by what we found. The detail on these pieces was incredible! As inspired as we were, I think we'll stick to laying in the sand and leave the sculpting to the pros.

Summer To Do List: Maine

Lindsey and I have started to tackle our Summer To Do List and will be sharing updates throughout the summer. A few weeks ago I checked 'Drive Up To Maine' off after a wonderful weekend spent on York Beach with my husband's family.

On Saturday, we walked into town and sampled whiskey drinks from a new small batch distillery, Wiggly Bridge (the York & Stormy was delicious). The weather wasn't great, but we were still able to sip a cocktail on the beach before a home cooked surf-and-turf dinner, complete with Maine lobsters.

Not a bad view to wake up to! Luckily the weather cleared up on Sunday, and we were able to get some beach time in. We hope to travel up that way again later this summer for a trip to Portland.

Summer To Do List

Now that the warm weather is finally here, we cannot wait to get out and take advantage of it! Every year we say we are going to try out new things and visit new places, but the summer seems to slip away so quickly that we don't fit it all in.
